FA's new rules. [RANT]

General
I usually don't like making rant journals, but this just irks me too much.
I was going to type a huge long journal, stating how I feel on everything, but I'll just keep it as simple as possible.
I do not agree with either of the new rules.
I understand why they were brought up, but they could have been handled much better.
Filters are very handy things. If not that, it could have just been made where material, non-art item raffles are banned. And where YCHs have restrictions on how often you can post reminders.
It upsets me, honestly, because I know at one point they did have restrictions.
And I specifically remember something going on at the same time as when that rule was made.
And it was looked over and not enforced well. And neither was the YCH rule after that (before this new one), that I didn't even know about.
I think people were spamming so much YCH because they don't know about these rules.
And yeah, its annoying when people post a YCH reminder every few hours.
But I enjoy reminders too! Maybe once every few days.
Along with this, I've seen a lot of people say, "Thank god, no more YCHs!" as if they're gone.
There's still going to be many, many artists doing them.
And, apparently, streaming images are allowed. The same exact image, possibly every day, for however long.
Nothing against them, but I find this very unfair.
I've heard people say, "Oh, but stream pictures aren't posted as frequently as YCHs!"
What the hell YCHs are you seeing? Honestly, never have I seen annoying spam of YCH reminders, and I watch 2100 people. Not to mention, a lot of artists depend on YCHs for money.
And, I know its been said, but yeah the thing about the raffle journal reposts is going to affect new artists.
If I didn't ever do raffles, I wouldn't have nearly as many people know about me. Not everyone can draw porn 24/7 to post every hour, every day to get watchers.
Not only that, they're fun and allow people to find new artists. They allow people who don't have money to have a chance at art. And, again, I've heard people say, "Oh its fine, people can buy ads if they want exposure!"
But its honestly hard sometimes to put aside even $20.
It seems like most people okay with these decisions aren't artists.
In the end, I feel like these were stupid decisions, and could have been handled a lot better.
Am I mad, brah? You bet I'm mad, brah =w=
Thank you for taking the time to read my opinion on the matter!

This part kinda is, though -- "In the end, I feel like these were stupid decisions, and could have been handled a lot better."
this is unfair for us artist because they are using this as a ploy to get people to buy an AD
yet i am homeless atm so how da fuuuuu can i afford a AD and i need every cent! i use pictures for promos becuase no one reads my journals unless i put FREE in big bold letters
I wonder... Did they even bother asking people about these issues at all? As far as I've seen, auction reminders often make a HUGE difference on the final result, and a number of people DID enjoy an increase in fanbase through raffles.
Furaffinity is becoming 2004's DeviantArt, where popular artists have it easy to become even more popular and smaller ones need to struggle hard to get even a few comments. Furaffinity is no longer a small art community with a small ammount of people discovering and browsing new artists anymore, they need to stop acting like one and start implementing features that makes browsing easier.
the popularity of YCH's now
How many you see on the front page per day
then multiply that by how many times they do it in a day
and multiply that in a given week
it gets really fucking crazy
with how many people are doing it
