Prize Support Options

So with our upcoming tournament (starting date still tbd), I wanted to ask everyone about what kind of prize support you would prefer.
We have a few options here, and I'll be looking into a few things as well.
Option 1: Charge a small entrance fee for the tournament, prize payout as much as I raise in entrance fees as packs.
Option 2: Charge a small entrance fee for the tournament, prize payout as much as I raise in entrance fees for a commission by someone on FA.
Option 3: No entrance fee, no prize (or small prize if I can find something special or pay out of pocket for something).
Let me know what you guys prefer! If you have any other ideas, let me know those as well!

Since this is an international community and if there is a fee, I assume it would be charged in USD. This, however, would make it rather unfair for people for people who's currenry is below the dollor. For exsample, the British Pound is above and therefor, Brits would pay less for an enterance fee than Americans. Would you alter the fee based on currency?
We may need instructions since the big cockatrice shutdown. Unless its back already :P
Besides of that, if it's EDH I don't think I'll be joining as well... :C
