Spring Semester first impressions

General
Just completed my first week of spring semester. Here are my thoughts on the professors and outlook for the rest of the term.
1. Microbiology (lecture and lab) - class is fun and dangerous, my favorite combination. First day in lab, we looked at live Staphylococcus aureus under the microscope. Having suffered through Staph infections before, I was pretty nervous, but it was actually interesting. Professor looks a bit like Frankenstein and has no sense of humor to speak of, but over all, not too bad.
2. Chemistry (lecture)-This professor is 2 parts hilarious, 1 part creepy. He's an old, bald man who calls himself "Uncle Cuddles" which is mildly disturbing. On the plus side, his jokes tend to have the class rolling and make it easy to pay attention in lecture. In my opinion, this more than outweighs his creep factor.
3. Chemistry (lab)- Lab professor is no-nonsense and to the point, but she knows her stuff and is fair with how she handles assignments. Aside from that, unremarkable.
4. Human Relations: Diversity and Ethics Issues- Aside from having WAY too long a name, the course is pretty interesting. It's mainly focused on criminal justice, and literally every single person in the class is majoring in some form of law or criminal justice. Being from the medical field, I give the class a unique perspective on ethics and spark a lot of debates. It's kind of like starting a political debate in an MMO. Make a few comments, then watch the fun.
5. Algebra- This professor, who I've taken to calling Professaurus Rex, is a demented combination of mean and scatterbrained. This is good, because she's easy to confuse. Just the other day, I managed to get her to try to find the slope of a vertical line, which as all should know, involves dividing by 0. We all laughed at her expense. My outlook for this class is bleak, as I already feel my will to live being sapped after listening to the tedium.
All in all, I think I'm going to do okay for this semester, and once I finish this round of classes, I'll officially be a biologist. Go me lol.
