MLP:FiM Season 3 Premier

I am so very bad about updating my journals.
Took off from work early on Friday to catch the bus up to Seattle and met up with the local bronies up there for a fun night on the town. Not even fully sure when we made it over to a Ryan's place with Josh and Matt crash, someone said we did not get to bed till almost 5am. Despite that, I still woke up feeling pretty good and after a quick breakfast stop at Jack in the Box we got something set up to stream the premier, took us awhile but eventually got it working.
While tempted to post my review of the episodes with all the heated debates popping up, what I will say is that while I also did feel a little disappointed that King Sombra was not more fleshed out as a character, rather than being more like the personification of darkness and fear, I still loved everything over all.
After the premier we decided it was time to part ways, saying thanks and goodbye to Ryan. Josh was nice enough to give Matt and I a ride over to our hotel, since we were still staying another night, but Josh had other plans with some local friends. It was nice to finally get a shower, I will say that right now. After getting settled and cleaned up, we went and got a quick dinner at the near by Denny's before heading on over to Redclaw's, who was having his own premier party.
I have to say that Red's party was the most fun I had all weekend, truly was the highlight and glad I went. His place was a lot larger than I was expecting, and my eyes went wide at the professional looking bar. Matt had done his fair share of drinking Friday night, though I had gotten to the gathering late so did not have quite as much, but boy howdy did I make it up Saturday. So as songs, remixes, episodes of Magic is Witchcraft and finally last season's finally played I had very few moments were a drink was not in hand as I mingled around, meeting new faces but also saying some friends like Max Coyote and Talryk, aka Cloud Chaser.
By the time of the premier I was pretty damn wasted and I think that I was even more emotionally than when it ran in the morning and I loved it all still the same. It was getting on the late side when everything was said and done and even though the party was still going for a little longer, Matt and I needed to say our goodbyes and catch the train back to our hotel room, which we did not last very long before crashing hard.
Sunday morning was pretty simple, we cleaned up, packed and got some breakfast before checking out. I had my bus to catch downtown and Matt had one to catch to take him out to Everett, as there was an after party up there at the AFK Tavern. As the train came to my stop we parted ways and I made my way back to Portland. No matter how much fun I ever have on any of my trips, it is always nice to come back home and sleep in my own bed.
Till next time, stay brony my friends.
