Came out to my best friend yesterday

Just kinda felt like enough positive change has gone on lately to make me comfortable saying that straight up. Really boasted an already good mood, I guess ya could say? :P
He told me basically that he'd already had that idea for years, which is something I'd expect from someone I've known since '97/'98, but the cat's out of the bag for real now. I can dig it. Nothing's really changed in the slightest, other than he's asking me what kind of dudes I like rather than women. XD

came out to a friend from work, he asks what kind of guys I like. I point out a beary guy sitting across the bar. He says 'Uhh but he's fat!'. Conversation went downhill. :D

I remember when I came out to my best friend. He laughed for a while, which made me upset, but the first thing he said was, "Dude, I know, and I still love you regardless." Of course he asked me what kind of guys I was in to and asked me if I thought he was good looking (Which he TOTALLY is >.> ) but it was a huge sigh of relief afterwords that I could tell people I trusted and nothing bad would come of it.

Most definitely. The folks'll be a different ballpark, but I've got that down at least. Dude's totally known about my twitter for months now- little weird crossing those streams at first, but he's known about furry for a while, too. Kinda thought it was funny. :p

Didn't tell him that I had one- he just found it on his own. Probably made the mistake of linking a furry email with a nonfurry email or something.
