General
I wonder how many painkiller induced journal entries will happen because of it.
Before anyone freaks: no, this isn't serious. I'm being sterilized. I will be under general anesthesia but it's all outpatient. No big deal, should be up and all normal within a week.

OM NOM NOM
I'm under 30 so doctors get weird about it. My new doctor is really awesome though. I saw him last week and,
"So, we're going to knock you out, make an incision, burn the tubes out, go below, burn your uterus out, give you painkillers and kick you out the door."
and I'm all *thumbs up* because he's funny as hell.
BECAUSE YOUR BONES WILL ROT YOU TWUNTS. You need the hormones from your ovaries to support your body! And a hysterectomy is a MAJOR SURGERY! We're talking like three days in the hospital and months of recovery! My mom had one (necessity) and I saw that first hand.
They could DO THEIR RESEARCH and get Adiana or Essure stacked with Novasure, which are the "abandon in place" options.
God damn my gender.
And I'm being fixed because I don't like kids, or want kids. So I am taking steps to never have them.
And the issue is, if you're under 30 doctors get REAL touchy because they don't like getting sued. I had to have some serious discussions with mine. And fill out a lot of release paperwork.
THAT SAID: it's going to put him into a weird hormone situation because without the estrogen etc from his ovaries, he might get brittle bones. He may want to look into some surgical aftercare in that regard. I'm sure he knows more than I do though!
