Anthrocon Advice?

So yeah, Anthrocon is coming up and it's going to be my first year going. Got the hotel and flight booked and everything. Now, I'm no stranger to conventions but thus far they've all been of the "Anime" variety. Frankly I don't know what to expect at AC. I was hoping some of my friends here who have gone before could impart some wisdom.
The biggest things I'm wondering is what kind of merchandise is sold in the dealer room. Obviously the Artist Alley is where to go for the art so the Dealer Room is a big enigma to me. For that matter hat in general are the average prices of commissions in the Artist Alley. Since this is a convention I'm expecting cost to be on the higher end. And should I bring references?
Also, historically how good is the game room? What kind of titles are usually on display and what are the most prevalent consoles? I'm strongly considering bringing my fight stick. I been on hiatus from fighters for at least a month now.
I did see that Blazblue tourney. Kinda gets my blood boiling. Haven't been in a BB tourney in over a year so I should brush up.
So yeah, any advice is appreciated.

OMG yes, we must hang out!
Video game room pretty fun, ton of places to eat nearby that are cool with furries and extremely good =^_^= hope you have fun, I'll be at CEO instead of AC lol
Can't comment on the game room, I don't play fighters and rhythm games competitively.
Dealer's room has anything from artwork prints and CDs to T-shirts, jewelry, and bumper stickers. There's a little something for everyone. Be sure to stop by
because clearly i am not going to the convention..actually i need to talk to you and dna about that where we can meet up and hang out for a very brief time.
Also, who will you be going with? Hopefully, they'll have more experience with going to a furry con. =)
As for the game room, if you want to bring your stick, go for it. I'm not sure what games will be there, but I'm sure you'll be able to put it to good use. :)
