So..here I am in Illinois for this month with a group mostly consisting of Tschoerman business students and have no access to any of my programs to do stuff with because my power adapter was shipped three days after I was already gone. And until I find one here, I have three kilogramms of unusable laptop with me. The lack of laptop alone wouldn't be so bad because I can do my scholarly work on the hosts' machines, but my electric razor is also unusable for now and I never tried to find out how bad I look after four weeks of not shaving.
Ah well, bought myself a sketch block and a new eraser (actually drawing things is a different matter because I'm too lazy). I also took the chance to buy the English version of Morrowind's expansion packs, since regular retail in Germany won't sell it despite the so-called globalisation. I have ton admit that it hurts my soul to see so many English versions of computer-games which I wouldn't buy in Germany because of the translations and German editing, and yet most of them are still in a price-range above me because I normally wait until the main hype about a game has calmed down.
However, I'm thinking about buying myself a hand-held console because with the current exchange rate it would be cheaper for me, even if I had to spend money on a converter to play it in Germany, too.

I found out that I'm rather bad with calculating the 15% tip. I can only do 10% and 20% in my head.
