What is Love? A Community Definition.

I'm not going to give any back story to where the idea of this question is coming forth. I'm curious to see or notice the changes in definition adhering to the personal preferences of my current watchers. Or anyone linked to this.
A concept that seems well defined has a definition that is defined by the individual person. Each person then shares a different ideology and in turn shapes who they are. Maybe love to some is just passionate sex, maybe love to others is a soul bound connection in the astral plains. Who's right? Could it be that the definition in turn serves no purpose, and the only true idea that should be followed is the generalized concept of the term itself.
I won't say my definition off the bat, I'd like to see others responses. If someone posts the same as you, post it again. Two of the same answer doesn't mean a right answer. No one is wrong, but it will be kinda fun to get a community definition that in the end serves no real purpose other than a collection of ideas.

But I feel that Love is a genuine connection that two people share. Some people think that infatuation is love... But the other person does not share that same feelings. Love also leads to better sex in my honest opinion. Why? When you have that connection with someone, it seems to actually means something.
Anyways, thats just my two cents.
My definition: love - A deep, primal feeling often embodying the greatest amount of devotion possible which drives one to do absolutely anything so as to ensure the utmost saftey and happiness of one's significant other. Love often leads one to put the needs of the significant other first before anything else; even if tha means the ultimate sacrifice of oneself should such a call come. True love is an undying urge to fulfill that unspoken oath.
DON'T HURT ME.
NO MORE.
And when they give you meaning or purpose, love for that person/place/thing brings overwhelming desires to reciprocate the love given. That reciprocation can be civic action/volunteer ship, patronage (purchases or donations), and other forms of action that can make your connection to that person/place/thing more interpersonal and develop that bond of love to be stronger over time.
At least, that is how I find love to be x3. I'd argue this line of thought is the more general approach to love for the generations born in the late 80s/early 90s, and future generations (in America, but also many other countries across the globe), especially as the barriers to whom you wish love in society is gradually broken down to allow same sex/transgender individuals to be treated with equality and granted equal rights to formalize their love in civil society.
