hehe well in the inflation department, i like Water Inflation, Cum Inflation, i think those two are my tops on that matter, Air type depends on what air is used XD but yeah.

I am with Slyver here, technically I don't prefer balloon style inflation (though I am the one with the 3 rubbery females that grow by inflationary means). I don't mind if it starts out that way but once you get past a certain point in the roundness of the being, it just repels me and my interest.

I know what you mean. Kind of how I'm feeling on the subject. I like a certain resemblance to a figure to remain, just inflated. Turning into a literal sphere is dull.

I find it all good as long as there's no blasted bursting from overfilling. Screw physics, we're being forced to expand by something anyway, so why have an elastic limit? But I think the balloon-style one's good 'cause it's all-over and you're still able to waddle about if you want, instead of being forced to sit there with say, a belly eight times your size. :P

Just not sure where it comes from is all.... er not to say that it needs to come from anywhere that is.

Its never really caught my interest or anything, but I'd say that on the odd occasion, it's nice to see depending on the substance and if the laws of physics apply (rarely they do :U ) if you can remain in the se shape you were originally, just inflated, then kudos to ya, I probably like it, since going sphere made is something I usually expect.

I'm going to throw in my two cents just becase I can and am bored at the moment:


Basically, if you look at it, inflation is part of "growths", just like macro growth, muscle growth, hyper growth and any other possible form of growth there is. They are also part of "Bodily changes" (close to Transformation or already part of it, but not necessarely transforming from one gender or species to another).

In my example, I'm going to use muscle growth as an example, since both Muscle growth and inflation are quite close to each other.


First, there's the [/u]Shape[/u]. Alot of folks are into certain types of shapes when growing up, from which the sphere/circle is the main favourite. It's not edgy like square or triangle, but instead, can be considered as "soft". If you look at the muscles, they tend to slightly "round up", but not too much compared to inflation where the main principle is to make everything go round.

Second, there's the Swelling. The growth itself. Depending on the persons preferences, the swelling is something some of us growthophiles like. I'm not 100% sure "why", but in my own mind, it has something to do with the excitement it brings along. If it goes slow, then it's teasing at it's best. If it goes fast, then it's more of trying to reach the goal while going through the progress. Another reason why something swelling up would be enjoyable is because how we think it's actually enjoyable to the persons senses. If so, this also answers why people likes going even further: "because it feels good". Third reason is because we know the more we swell, the bigger we get. And fourth reason I have in my mind is just the sight of swelling: take a moment to watch something or someone become larger bit by bit. Wether it is meant to cover your face completely or see how something outgrows anything, we still admire both of them. (But this is from the viewers point of view. Grower's point of view is mainly the rush of joy in his senses, I belive.)

Third, is the Size. In our minds, bigger usually means more powerful or omnipotent. And for some unknown reasons, we do have the tendency to admire it in some way. So the person who is growing bigger also wants to be bigger, not because how they'd become powerful, but even for the sheer fact that they either must be big or, going back to the previous example: they want to go over the top. The idea of growing bigger might also mean that the person is more than willing to be free of all the restraints that the realistic world of ours has (just like someone having fantasies of being a superhero going from spot A to spot B to stop the criminals). So in short: the bigger we are, the more confident we also get, because nothing will stop you. (And that of course turns into addiction at some point, if it would happen in reality, because our ego would be too huge as well to use logic.)

And fourth, the Feelings/Senses it gives to us. For a person who grows bigger just by himself without any changes occuring other than his overall height (magnifying bigger, so to speak), it would mean that it's all he needs: he becomes bigger and that's it, he is already the boss. Someone who grows bigger muscles doesn't only think and feel like he is becoming strongest thing in the world and some more, he might also enjoy the feeling of how his muscles are somewhat pressing in him against each other, fighting for all the places for himself. Might also enjoy the weight it brings. As for the inflatees, immobility would be the ideal thing here (or if the inflation only occures, let's say: on female breasts, it's to be either "extremely attractive to those who are into boobs" or the same thing like every form of growth is meant to direct towards at: "feel very, very good".) And even though these are just kinks/fetishes to bring satisfaction to ourselves in any way possible, they do somehow work also as way of boosting up your self-esteem. After all: Who would like to be small, easy target for being picked up on? (That is, unless the person enjoys the completely opposite things, shrinking and such.)



...and that's my two cents on the whole reason I think why growthofiles/expansiofiles loves these kinds of stuff: Shape, Swelling, Size, Feelings/Senses. If these aren't part of it, then it's a mystery forever and occures to folks randomly until scientists and psychologists finds an explonation to this that is better than my simple thouhgts.

I like "balloon" style to a degree, but I still like it when the inflation victim tends to keep an anthropomorphic shape... even if it's faint beyond all belief.

I know the last one is pretty ballish, but there's still some faint bits of some shape left to the features. When a balloon-style inflation goes to... say... a ball with the head and limbs sunken in, then it really doesn't do much for me. At that point, the victim might as well be entirely featureless.

Yeah, I like to have bigness in my form, but at the same time I do enjoy keeping my proportions to a degree. Like many, I do hate just resembling a sphere or whatever else.

I have done the balloon inflation a couple times myself though.

I like balloon TF in moderation. As opposed to "Suddenly, all belly/torso and no limbs!", I prefer it to be a bit more interesting, slowly bloating outwards, belly first, looking a bit larger and filling out a bit, hips following, chest sort of slowly inflating out as well, overall as if the air pressure is coming from the belly, but before completely filling up the torso like so many inflation pics out there portray, I prefer it to spread all over the body, slowly growing bigger and bigger...

I generally like the idea that the body stretches and grows with it, but very similar to how a balloon gives resisitance, eventually getting to the "so filled up, it's dangerous to go any further" point. I don't care to go that far too often, however... I like a bit of flexibility to it, so probably some point before the point of near insta-popping. Basically have it stop so it's somewhere before that, so the victim has a good amount of squishiness to them... :3

What exactly do you mean by "balloon style"? Swelling into a sphere shape, or just being filled with air or other gas to the point where the character is visibly swollen? I make the distinction because the sphere thing doesn't do it for me. I prefer the use of air or helium to "enhance" a female character's figure. I guess the reason I like that is, besides the obvious, the character gets bigger without getting heavier. Plus the soft-yet-rigid nature of a gas-filled balloon is more appealing to me than the jelly-like squishiness of a water balloon. Uh, that's why I like inflation.
