So yeah, I cleared my last duty station the other day. Felt kinda good to be moving on but I'll definately miss all the people I worked with. I think I had a pretty good run at Ft Drum and had the privilege of working with a lot of outstanding soldiers/civilians, but the way things are headed I think I jumped off of a sinking ship. I'm looking forward to Korea where I think I've been put on the gains roster for a traffic section on a camp located a good distance from the DMZ.
Right now enjoying some leave down in Oklahoma with these guys: and getting pretty drunk on a routine basis (and by that I mean a perpetual state of intoxication. It's wonderful <3 ).
Spending a few days down here then going back up to visit family in NY. Gotta sort through all the stuff I've accumulated over the years to decide what I really want to bring with me which I'm not looking forward to, but overall I'm pleased with how stuffs playing out. Hell, lifes good. =]
