I set up a pounced ad out of curiosity. That was a big mistake. Now I've used it off and on, and I haven't really had much trouble with anyone, but just now I did.

I made up the ad and everything. Pretty much just said 'hey, I'm a busy motherfucker. I'm making this ad because I'm curious if anyone'll respond. Please note I'm not looking for a relationship of any sort. No quickies. Nothin. Just people to chat with.'

Within five minutes of the ad being up, I get a response from some dude in the UK. We start chatting for about five minutes, then he goes silent after I start asking some questions about if he has a job, or if he's going to school.

Five minutes after that he goes 'are ya there?'

I go 'Yeah. What's up?'

him: *sigh*

Me: What?

Him: You didn't respond to my question.

Me: *goes through chatlog* You haven't said anything in five minutes. What questions?

Him: Nevermind...you aren't my type anyway. Bye.

Me: Uh, okay? If you read my ad I said I'm just looking for people to talk to, not a relationship.

Him: Oh, okay. Bye. *logoff*

...please read the whole ad before assuming things. >_> I even mentioned in there 'hey, I've had people meet with me in person and tell me 'I don't wanna meet up with you or keep in contact anymore.''

If I put that in an ad, and you act like this dude just did, I'm going to have a problem, because those two occurrances are pretty similar. Only difference is this latest one's online, and the dude clearly didn't read my ad.

Maybe I was trolled? Anyway I'm not going to think much of it since I really didn't know the guy, but shit, does anyone know how to read? Damn. >:\ Dude's my age too, so it's got me thinking maybe that's got something to do with it? Blah.
