Back in San Antonio again. Acting as cadre for the IMCOM best soldier competition which is all kinds of bullshit. Stuck on Camp Bullis- which is some kinda National Guard shithole. Stuck in a field barracks with limited internet; and limited everything else for that matter. Ghettofab.
My unit is the #1 Fighter Wing in the air national guard, and all our stuff is falling apart, but we still put bombs on target.
It is not about regular army giving the national guard money (which never has happened). It is about how much the Federal government is willing to give the state and how the state decides to use it.
