*GlaDos Voice* It's been a long time. How have you been?

General
And it has.
It's been months upon months since I gave an update of whats currently going down in my life and for those who have been in the circle with me already know whats going down in my life but for those who dont know, here's a journal to sum it up for you.
For the past couple weeks,
Eynkiwolf and I have been talking about a new location to move to. A new place where we can start a new chapter for ourselves and our woofs, while continue our education in school and wanting to earn our degrees in our fields of specialty. Eynki wants to continue in his work of ITT studies while I want to continue and strive for my RVT license. After some conversations here and there we had decided to look into the state of CO, Denver or Colorado Springs to be exact, as our new living location. There are perks to both locations but since cost of living and minimum wage are close to being the same, we'd figure we save up now, plan, and see if we have the necessary resources to make the move possible later this October.
Our move is planned to be later on this year because we had signed a lease for our apartment and our contract isn't up until the middle of October. Until then, we still have alot of time to plan and think about things before we make this major change. I received comments from close friends of this idea of ours and to answer your guys' common question of 'why CO?...' I can answer some of the easier questions for you.
~It's a highly considerable location to move to that's very woof friendly
~ Cost of living is close to, if not, the same as MO
~ Minimum wage is a tad higher than MO but cost of living can be manageable with stable income
~ Denver Community college has a RVT program I am greatly considering to be a part of while it also has awesome ITT tech schools for
Eynkiwolf to attend in as well
~ Good friends of mine such as
RaikouWolf and
arium are residing there as we speak, and I'm interested in meeting new furries out there.
~I'm closer to CA by two states but I'll be two states away still but hey, its sure beats being halfway across the US :D
~from what Ive been gathering from coworkers, inhabitants, friends, travellers, teachers, and counselors who have stayed in CO at one point. They all say that its a beautiful place to live and work and it's totally doable to start a new life there. A majority of these people only stay here in MO temporarily but they plan on going back to CO in time as well so who knows...maybe I'll see these people again in the future
..thats about it really. those are the considerable factors which we're going off from now, and as time goes on we'll find more factors which will tip the scale of deciding if CO would be a great place for us to move to. we have 6 months to plan this. which is plenty of time, but before we know it, that time wont last as long as we know it. We had thought of going to Humboldt CA but E wouldnt be able to handle the rates of CA living so unfortunately the location is scratched off the list. Who knows...we do feel a strong urge about being in CO so thats what we're leaning towards moving to.
Whelp...that's all for now folks. My school semester ends in the middle of May and I plan on working the entire summer to raise up money for our move, I'm still learning how to drive with E by my side and its gotten to a point where I can drive myself to/from work easily :) (despite it being a 5 min drive, I can still do it ALL BY MYSELF) and Matsi is still FAT >:D
Anyways, y'all know how to reach me. Hit me up via IM if you wanna chat or PM for my cell and you can be my texting buddy. I hope you all are doing just fine and working for what you believe in what's right. Till then...Matsi and I will be trotting around...
~peace out~
