Anarchy Reigns

Well, seems today that Sega decided to release a teaser of the next big title Platinum Games has in store for us. I was only recently informed about the game in general, so this teaser is pretty timely for me. Check it out.
Now my ears perk up anytime I hear about anything Platinum is doing but what really got my attention with this one is apparently it's going to be based on MadWorld. I loved MadWorld. Such a criminally under-appreciated game. In my opinion of the four games released by Platinum so far, MadWorld was the second best right after Vanquish.
What also get's me particularly interested is the way they try describing the game. It's been referred to as a massively-multiplayer online melee fighting action game. For starters it's a breath of fresh air to see MMO followed by something other than RPG. While this description certainly brings up questions about gameplay, what I find more interesting is what this could entail for community.
MMO's by nature are very online community based. Since Anarchy Reigns is based on MadWorld one has to wonder whether the world we play in will be one huge free-for-all. If so, how do you interact with others? How do you form a community in that environment? My imagination may simply be running wild, but I can't wait to see if "Anarchy Reigns" is a title more appropriate than we realize.
Jack: I don't help people...I kill them.
