The Learning Channel?

Ever watch this channel and feel like you're learning something. Maybe you're more like me and wonder why its called The Learning Channel

Years ago TLC was about learning with shows about dinosaurs and home improvement etc and I'll admit fully it wasn't a interesting channel for me personally but it -was- The Learning Channel

Ok, I'm going to be nice and give a slight nod to A Baby Story & Bringing Home Baby because at least these shows can teach new parents about what to expect when their bundle of joy comes around.

If you're into any of these shows then that's all good and I'm not saying that TLC doesn't have a right to have these programs. My point is that MOST of these shows are NOT about learning

Ever watch Toddlers and Tiaras, I feel like the cops should come arrest me when I stop to watch it even for a few minutes.

Say Yes to the Dress, can anyone say exploitation of the bride?

Cake Boss, don't even get me started on that guy

My Deadly Appetite, Strange Addiction and Tons of Love are clearly programs designed to humiliate people for our entertainment. If you eat toilet paper or like to sleep with a hair dryer, seek professional help not television.

I don't know what TLC should change their name to but I do know that the word "Learning" doesn't apply anymore. Oh wait, I have a suggestion....How about the TSLC channel (The Sometimes Learning Channel)
