But either way, you shouldn't let it bother you. People will never be happy with anything. It's just how they are. You draw a comic with Amy and Knuckles, and people are going to start yelling "AMY WOULD NEVER DO THAT WITH HIM!". Then you go and throw a fan character at Knuckles and you have other people going "SHE'S JUST A FAN CHARACTER! THEY WOULD NEVER BE TOGETHER!"

Either way, there's a group of people who aren't going to be happy with it.

Plus, from what I've seen, there's a bit of a stigma against Venus. I don't know what started it, or why, but it seems like a lot of the Sonic Fan Community dislikes her for some reason. Whatever the reason may be, it seems like any art with Venus in it gets it's fair share of hate.

So just don't let it get to you. Like water off a duck's back, as my Grandma used to say. At least there'll always be those that do like you're work, no matter who's in it. :3

Well see, if you had said in the beginning that this was a commission, then it would be a whole didferent story. like i said before, if you cant handel opinions of other i suggest you stop posting and do it soemwhere else. Everyone will not agree to the things you do or draw. As an artist you should have known that different sides to opinoins where gonna be thrown at you left and right. its practically normal, critiques/critism is what makes artist better people and better artist.

My only issue with Sonic fan characters is they are almost always a hedgehog, their were other species in the sonic shows
like Rotor(a walrus) or Sally or even Bunny(half robot, half playboy bunny).

I asked permission to use Venus from her creator, bbmbbf drew the comic that I described lol. Not everything in this world has an answer, a solution lol. I understand people don't like Venus but she has really long hair LOL. She's pretty ^ ^ Or I think she's pretty lol. Matter of fact, I love everything about mobian creatures (does that include everything lol - fancharacter, archie characters, sega characters lol) A smile always stretches across my face reading every single comment. I finally commissioned something! ^ ^
Funniest thing is how some people talk about copying: Is Scourge almost exactly like Sonic? Rouge has some Amy in her (In more ways than one LOL) No originality I know right? lol. No, no, no . . . I take that back lol. Do I get a do over lol. Funniest thing is: Tis a comic Commissioned by Count Drunku (CountDrunku for all those websites that don't allow SPACES!) and it makes as just as much sense as he does, none what-so-ever lol.

My only concern about the last comic was whether or not you got permission to use those fancharacters. As long as you got permission, I see no problem in including fancharacters in the comics.
