Because it's one of the most used webdevelopment languages, it is ideal for rapid application development... the suppord for it is very wide, and a lot of operating systems support it. On top of that, it is an easy language to learn, yet quite powerful at the same time.

Alrighty. I'm glad that you've actually explained rather than saying something like "it's the best". How well would flash integrate with it? I still have to learn that too:P

hehe I hate answers like that myself, so I wouldn't dare giving them.

Flash can work together with any form of server side scripting, as it runs clientside. If there is anything else you want to know about it :) just ask and I'll try to answer the best I can. Perhaps its easier if we exchange our mailing addresses? :)

You can find nearly anything about it on google, but it's sometimes difficult to find the good things from between the crap.

A good starters place for webdevelopment, and a place I still often return to (for referencelists they have) is w3schools
