My feet pound into the dirt as I propel myself forward. Faster, and faster. But not fast enough. I hear him behind me, gaining on me. I hear his footfall get louder and louder, and I try to run even faster. His footsteps echo through my ears, matching the racing beat of my heart- and the it stops. There isn't any noise except my erratic breathing and and the steady rhythm of my feet hitting the ground. I dare to steal a glance behind myself, and see nothing. He isn't behind me anymore, the thought sends chills up my back, but I refuse to stop running. I turn my head back to my front, and there he is, standing right in front of me. He is so close that I run right into his body. But before I can fall to the ground, his hands encircle my upper arms, securing me to his chest. I am to stunned to react, to even utter a single sound. He is smiling widely, not bothering to hind the fangs I now know exist behind his lips. He bends his head to my ear and whispers "That was fun,". His hands brushes my hair back, exposing my throat. "Too bad all fun as to come to an end." Tears fall down my cheeks. He is going to kill me. I know it, and there nothing can do to stop him, no escape. He bend s his head to my exposed throat, and bits in deep. I feel him draining me, feel him sucking out every memory I ever had, taking from me everything that could ever have defined me. Slowly I feel blackness pressing down upon me, and I let it. Letting the blackness enclose over me as I fade away.
