That's true; there's a plus and minus to everything. Spammers constantly doing this is why I quit DeviantArt and vowed never to return to it.

Called my SOS office with a license issue last week. Immediately was offered a "free medical alert device" and was put in touch with a sales representative. Ended the call. Reported the matter to my state representative. Then the same thing happened when I called a cel phone company. Weird.

They're getting smarter; it helps take advantage of our society and culture getting dumber and dumber all the time. But it's not just me; even the work phones at Walmart (I work there) have been getting random spam calls. I am a personal shopper, and so I pick the phone up thinking it is a customer here to pick up their order, for example. (This happened about 2 months ago.) Instead, it's an insurance lady asking for my personal info. When I tried to tell her that she called a business phone, she acted as if I had given her the correct answer that she wanted. (Then again, it might have been a robot.)

It's possible. Either way, it's blocked. If you get a message like that, block the user!

If you have to, you can tell them to fuck the hell off as well as all of their friends. Because apparently some of scammers are actually a group of friends.

I'm a Christian, so I never use language like that. However, you made your point. I'm just not that type of person.

I enjoy leading these peeps in circles for an hour or so when I have the time. Their reaction to me wasting their time is.... magnificent.

Still sucks they exist.
