Agreed! How am I gonna keep uploading my fanfics when the site is invaded by scammers?

And how am I gonna read them when the authors are at risk of being scammed? I mean, sure, there’s always Archive [dot] org, but it’s a matter of how much those of us who write and read fanfics know about it.

I post stuff on that site, too. And I do get these messages. When is it going to stop?

I block the users and report them (assuming FA allows you to do that).

I get these on my DA. I hate it so much.

I quit DA forever for that very reason.

It's sad you had to quit over them.
The admins there need to do their jobs.

But I understand.
It's why I mostly use my DA for buying adopts and making adopts to sell.

There's another factor. The scammers claimed they wanted to buy my pictures, but the pictures were AI generated (which I've been having a guilty conscience about ever since).

They were doing that to my hand drawn pictures too.

And since you weren't selling the AI pictures no need to feel guilty.

In my honest opinion if the AI is done for your own personal use no harm no foul.

The guilty conscience also came from the excessive number of things I had on my DA gallery (over 11,000 in all) and the hateful comments telling me I was a thief that deserved to go to prison. (Another one asked me, "Ever heard of a pencil?") The purpose of doing it, though, was showing all the cases (with a few exceptions) of animals in my universe that were born as humans, but then the supernatural took their humanity away from them (and they'll never gain it back). This is common in my universe.

However, DA wasn't a site I was motivated to use anyways, so I gave up. There will forever be evidence I was there if somebody uses the Internet Archives.

Some people can just be so cruel sadly.

I use my mouse to draw my art. It was a pain at first but thanks to God I got the hang of it.
I honestly thought your AI stuff was super cute. And I never knew they were human to animal change. I thought they were always animals. But now I know.

I rarely use my DA. It's due to DA wants to charge for everything you do on their site. And the trolls and spammers don't help much either. Back in early 2000's I almost lived on DA. But the site stinks now sadly.

Thank you; I'll take a look at that when I get a chance. At this point, though, the scam messages have stopped (for me, anyways).
