List of some stuff that I did last year
- went to an antony gormley exhibition
- got dumped by the girl of my dreams
- tried on a fursuit
- cheered a friend on when he ran a half marathon
- looked after my housemate's shitty dog
- met my Ex after two years apart (it was weird, but good)
- built a shed
- drank lots of beer
- posed naked with my housemate
- cried at a friend's wedding (A+ experience)
- deadlifted 85kg (my own bodyweight)
- kissed a friend of a friend
- saw a big millipede in Oregon
- hung out with Glopossum (A+ experience too)
- saw some herons build a nest, and hatch a chick in it
- met my cousin's new baby
- was made redundant from my job. Went freelance. Shout out to everyone who commissioned me last year, you guys are real ones.
- saw us lose to Spain in the Euros
- met a girl. Started dating said girl. Still dating her (its great)
- saw someone set a tree on fire in a park
- went to the beach
- coffin bearer at my aunt's funeral (not a great experience but an important one)
- was miserable for like two months (2024 year of tears)
- made a lot of really good food
- got bit by a cockatoo
- went to a sex party
- partied at Eurofurence in Music City aka Hamburg (shoutout to Nahyon et al you guys are da best)
- decked it on a lime scooter in Music City aka Hamburg and had a huge fuck off bruise for weeks.
- had a Lady's Brunch with Glopossum
- went to Wales. Swam in the sea. It was cold.
- sang karaoke
- listened to ambient music under a bridge next to the river.
- met the stevenage station cat.
- saw the Ghent Altarpiece
- drank horrible belgian ale in a pub for hours
- saw Bladee bring out ecco2k and yung lean for his last gig on the tour
- skimmed stones (tried to, im not very good)
- fed apples to a horse
- kissed my gf at new years in the most crowded, heterosexual club in london (which is saying something!)(kiss was great though)
In hindsight
Last year was a lot of emotional highs and lows. Feels like i'm hitting adulthood seriously now - relationships, family stuff good and bad, friends marrying and buying houses (not me im too cool), job and career shit. I hope 2025 is more fun, more highs, less lows. hella big shout out to the Oregon gang (@garroh etc) and the Splattle gang, shoutout to Eurofurence, shoutout to da big city and women and dancing all night long.

I love his work, especially the more recent. I didn't actually know it was his at first. I kept thinking "hm, this reminds me of this one sculptor..." and only realized it *was* him at the last room where they had a bunch of books collecting his work to browse haha.
