1. The big news first - The horrid next door neighbor and their moocher have moved out! For the past few years they have both made life very difficult, during the past year it became unbearable at times. The breaking point happened last month when open warfare broke out between them, me and the people living below them as we'd had enough of their shit. For the past few months the constant drama had taken a big toll on my health, and my artwork had stopped. The horrid neighbor and their Moocher had hundreds of complaints racked up against them over the last 3 years. I believe that management finally got tired of their constant B.S. and asked them to leave, my reaction to their departure... "YES!! Liberation!"

As an extra note, I think I've seen the new tenant as someone was shown the apartment next door a couple of days ago, we will know for sure soon.

2. Artwork update - Liberation from the horrid neighbor has just happened and it still feels unreal. I'm currently in a big time relief and decompression mode, after all I was at war with the horrids for the last two years. Now that the tensions are going away I am starting to feel like I'm getting my art mojo back. My sleep and mental health has improved a lot since the horrids left a week ago. I'm going to get back at doing new art soon but its got to happen organically and I'm getting the feeling that the way to do it might be some rough sketches/images to start. Another thing is that I live next to a construction zone for the next while and there will be times that the noise will impact my ability to do anything requiring concentration.

3. Changes in taste - My tastes have changed, become more focused on certain things that I've been into. In some cases I've become more interested in human/human stuff, tiny vs giant mostly, vore, crush play etc. I used to do a fair amount of feral content but thats becoming increasingly taboo. I've heard of a couple of feral artists that I used to follow that have stopped posting their work online because they don't want to deal with the drama it might bring their way. I still love doing Kyel stuff but want to show off a bit more of his human form. The current trends that I see in the various galleries that I browse is not my thing. I'm still going to do what I want to even if it means that it won't get as much attention.

4. Dragoneer - Dragoneer commissioned me some years ago but they were known as Preyfar back then. I was fairly new to FA at the time and Neer's commission helped get me more work, including a comic commission that went for a decade and made me good money. I never knew or spoke to them beyond that one time commission but heard of the many controversies surrounding them in the years since. I personally don't know if any of it is true or not but Neer took a lot of heat for it and for the way the site was run. If I had one piece of advice for the next one to succeed Neer it would be to grow very thick skin. No matter how the site is run there will be those who will criticize it, some for legit reasons and others who are simply being argumentative. The way Neer passed was just another indictment of the US healthcare system. Its never a good idea to put profit before people, I've heard many horror stories about unfortunates in the US getting wiped out, having their lives destroyed by massive healthcare bills. Like them or not Dragoneer put together an amazing site for artists and the enjoyers of anthropomorphic content to share their expressions and I thank them and those who run iit..

I would by lying I didn't say that I'm concerned about the future of FA despite the $200,000+ raised in the fundraiser and I wonder if the tax collector will take a big chunk of that.

5. Adult content creators, are their days numbered? - Deletion of accounts on social media platforms like Twitter, the removal of accounts on DeviantArt. Creeping content restrictions on Patreon and from payment processors that service these sites. Governments that are introducing censorship bills disguised as noble sounding online safety acts etc. In the past few years I've seen a couple of prominent adult artists literally get kicked off of sites, had their galleries deleted without explanation or the right to appeal. I've heard of influencers, political lobbyists and others talking about making adult content illegal.
Imagine the net being purged of all adult content, a large number of sites suddenly shut down, inaccessible, the adult enjoyers forced underground.

6. Play partner reconnect - When I got into the local fur scene I met a few guys that I was attracted to. The first one was very cute, nice body and was very special because I had a big crush on them. There wasn't enough there for a longer term relationship so we stayed friends. I met another who was South African, very cute face, sexy accent and had a gorgeous body, again not enough common ground for a relationship so we stayed as friends. I met a couple more guys that I was interested in around that time including a guy that had big shapely muscular legs which is very much my thing. Earlier this year that same guy reconnected with me after disappearing for several years. I found out that they are in to soft vore, this was a surprise and it made him more interesting to me. Since then they have come over a couple of times and lets just say that we have had some kinky fun. His legs and butt are still quite nice and we may be doing this kind of thing again. I'm hoping to get them back over again sometime next month when things quiet down a bit more.
