No new art but some big updates...

Some new things to pass on...
1. No new art this week - Apologies for having nothing new to post this week but that is because of how busy things are. Between the job, the flood of annual chores and some government work its going to be hard to get anything done for the next couple of weeks. Something is in progress but its not done yet and I've been experimenting with some changes to the way I do things to see if gets done faster and looks good.
2. Update on the move - Over the last while I've mentioned a move that was going to happen in the next two years. Due to the crazy expensive housing situation in my area and the demand for affordable housing its 80% likely that it won't happen. When I talked to the management outfit that runs this place they told me that the situation has changed since they announced the new building. The work to build the new building is starting in the next couple of months and the waiting list to get into the place is very long. Those of us who are living in the older building have been told that we already have nice places to live. The demand is too great to justify moving anyone from here into the new place. I'm actually relieved because the new building will have small units, no storage and there will be kids living in the new building that will probably be running up and down hallways screaming. . . no thanks, don't want to deal with that.
3. Karen neighbor - They continue to be a problem, they're causing drama over stuff as petty as laundry room use. Her latest thing is to blast us with her surround sound system and its caused an unexpected thing to happen. When the Karen moved here she and the people that live below her were friends, now they dislike each other because of how noisy Karen has been. I got word from one of the property managers that her days here are numbered, they said they couldn't tell me what's happening but to hang in there for now and let them know about any crap she stirs up.
4. Future? - Hearing that I'll likely stay where I am is good news but I have to get more info on that. At the end of the month it looks like I'm going to have someone coming over for the weekend but thats not been 100% confirmed yet. I may get a chance to go to the interior sometime in late May, this could be an opportunity to get some pictures of the area that the Kyel and I story takes place. I am going to try and post new art next week, been thinking about doing another longer term comic but I have to figure out how to tie the many ideas that I have into one story.
