It has been a week already and 2 weeks since father got to hospital. Both of my parents received surgeries and will be back home this friday. Mom had big stones removed from her pancreas, which could have killed her shortly and father has a liver tumor, which made his liver grow, while he slowly was turning all yellow and losing weight. Just to think of it, just 2 week ago he was still working and riding his scooter and then got to the hospital where he turned to weak, he hardly could lift a book. Was already phoning me, preparing us all for his own funeral, saying goodbye. It's doesn't mean they completely cured him, he still needs to go through chemotherapy and we don't know how it will go, but at least he can breath freely now and able to walk, not looking as some Simpson character as well...
This last week was a complete stress for myself, sleepless nights, tears and other bad thoughts.
I am planning to grab my parents to my place, though they don't really want it, or visit their place and take care of them now till they are better, as they are forbidden to lift anything heavy and just need a rest and some healthy diet after surgeries.
Doctors can't tell what to expect in the near future, specially for my father, but at least I will have some more moments with him...

My mom is 64
Anything to do with the liver seems to happen really quickly, my grandfather passed quite quick due to liver cancer.
Hope they both recover nicely and quickly, take good care of them and yourself <3
still hope he can recover without too many issues at least x.x
So the situation is grim as it is. At least I'll have some time with him.
But I’m definitely happy that it seems like they’re both improving and getting better. That’s what’s really important and hopefully you can also have some relief now as well, really can’t imagine how stressful this all was for you.
