While replaying this classic for the first time in a long while, I realized my story plays out quite differently than most. After acquiring the Master Sword, my playthrough is as follows:

Huh, good question! I’ll have to replay it to find out! But to do that, I need to pull myself away from Little Battlers Experience, and that just ain’t gonna happen XD

I always thought the Spirit Temple requires the Hover Boots? Maybe I'm just not doing it cleverly enough then

In the room with the huge statue, you can make the jump to her hand without the hover boots. It took a few tries because I kept rolling off, but you can definitely land it with a little practice. The hammer can be used to open a shortcut back to the entry, but it's not necessary either.
