I believe you just have to be more careful about 2 things: leading paypal to any of your profiles that say or state 'nsfw' and just being careful with invoices or how you want money sent such as leaving the info box clear.

If you use paypal invoices you can just say something like: 'digital commission' for example. Here's my own journal about it when I did a bit of research too, the person in the twitter link seemed fairly knowledgeable about it though I don't think they did a follow up tweet.
