Good to hear!

Glad to hear! We had the usual windy Oklahoma weather all day, but didn't get any of the dangerous stuff out here.

Oh, geez--you were there? That must have been terrifying! :(

I'm about 40 miles northeast of that Amazon warehouse... but yes, it was in-the-bad-way exciting. Strobe-light lightning and tornado warnings going off in the dark of night. I have studied tornadoes since I was in 4th grade, which takes a lot of the terror out, and I had a plan in place for where to go and what to do, but still...

The first tornado warning- the one that smashed the Amazon warehouse- I went to the belowground vaults in the courthouse (where I work). The second one alerted just south of town an hour later, so I decided not to risk the five minute drive and just went to my basement... the one with windows and minimal shelter in it. :( Yes, there's a reason I prefer the courthouse.

Wow. I'm looking at the photos of the complete devastation of the area...and thinking how "this could be my town," because the few buildings left standing resemble the ones in our own downtown. My heart goes out the the victims and survivors.
