I have a question I can't take out of my mind lately. This is for commissioners who mostly buy things on USD. Is it uncomfortable or makes you go back a bit if you see the prices in Euros? Would you rather to see the prices ALWAYS as USD?

For me as much as converting my money into USD is painful, seeing anything in euro or pound sterling does make me recoil as they're more expensive conversion rate wise.

So for you it's easier to see the prices already on USD than euros or pounds due to the conversion?

Yes. Pounds is expensive when converted. It's $1.88 Australian dollar to 1 pound sterling.

Yeah that's understandable. Tho to me it's the opposite. The dollar cost less than the euro and if I make the commissions in USD when it gets converted I barely get enough money to pay the bills (plus you know, paypal gets a huge chunk). But I'm starting to think that people will check more my commissions if it's in USD even if the price is a bit more expensive than if I have it on Euros

Your art is amazing but the pounds throw me off, I especially get a bit iffy if I pay for something on an invoice and it is way more then what was said in USD. So these people post in USD but then change it to pounds and I pay way more. I think if anything keep both prices. Show what you pay for in pounds and add USD amount next to it.

For example 1 pound = 1.88 USD

Thank you so much! 💖✨ Also I always put my price on Euros and then the invoice is on Euros. But is the commissioner paying more than the invoice due to conversions fee? D: so far I changed a few YCHs to USD and I'd make invoices on USD. I hope it helps and makes it more appealing for people!

Yes the person would be paying more (I bought a character and they sent me the invoice in usd I believe or I didn't look at what it was and instead of 150 I paid 155 which at the time I didn't have or afford

I didn't know that!!! I always thought that if the invoice was let's say 60 euros they would ONLY pay the value of 60€ on USD. I always thought that the conversion fee was from the chunk of fees PayPal takes on the invoice which means, I would receive less but the commissioner would just pay the value of euros on USD

Well when you think about it the euros are more expensive to the USD so really they are paying a lot more in USD to match the 60 Euros

But if I put the things in USD I'd raise the price to match what I wanted to get in euros? Otherwise I wouldn't get enough to pay bills D:

Oh yeah I got it! Right now I don't want to mess more around with the YCHs because I already changed the prices today but thank you so much for the help ^^
